BOARDING
Repeatedly striking the clenched fist of one hand into the open palm of the opposite hand in front of the chest

BUTT-ENDING

CHARGING
Rotating clenched fists around one another in front of the chest

CROSS CHECKING
A series of forward and backward motions with both fists clenched extending from the chest for a distance of about one foot

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DELAYED CALLING OF PENALTY
With arm fully extended above the head (hand without whistle) with the other hand pointed to the player to be penalised by extending the arm in the player's direction once or twice until stoppage of play

ELBOWING
Tapping either elbow with the opposite hand

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FIGHTING
A double punching motion with fist clenched, fully extended in front of the body

HIGH STICKING
Holding both fists clenched, one immediately above the other at the height of the forehead

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOLDING
Clasping either wrist with the other hand in front of the chest

HOOKING
A series of tugging motions with both arms as if pulling something from in front toward the stomach

INTERFERENCE
Crossed arms stationary in front of the chest

KNEEING
Slapping knee with palm of hand

 

 

 

 

MATCH PENALTY
Patting flat of hand on the top of the head

MISCONDUCT
Both hands on hips several times and point to the penalised player

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PENALTY SHOT
With arms extended above head, clench fists and cross wrists

ROUGHING
Fist clenched and arm extended out in front of the body

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SLASHING
A series of chopping motions with the edge of one hand across the opposite forearm

SPEARING
Jabbing motion with both hands thrust out immediately in front of the body, and then drop hands to the side of the body

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TRIPPING
With both skates on the floor, strike right leg below the knee with right hand

WASH OUT
A sweeping sideways motion of both arms across the front of the body with palms down. The signal is used by the referee to signal "No Goal"
