Criminal Records Bureau
(CRB) Application & Processing Service Fees The following fees apply from 1 April 2006:
BIPHA Members: The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure Fees and return postal costs are waived for correctly registered members of the BIPHA. Please note: CRB applications will be
tested against the BIPHA membership database. All identification documents submitted
with applications via the BIPHA Post Office Box, will be returned to applicants
via the same mode as they were submitted Personal Presentation - Most BIPHA
regions have at least one (sometimes more) people authorised to process
initial submissions of CRB Disclosure applications, those authorised people are
often in attendance at regional events and have agreed to process
personally presented CRB applications and immediately hand back all
identification documents to the applicant. Also the National Secretary is
regularly in attendance at many national events (GB Training days,
Superleague, and so on) and will process personally presented CRB
applications and immediately hand back all identification documents to
the applicant. Members
of Associations affiliated to British Roller Sports Federation: We will apply (on your behalf) for an enhanced disclosure, unless you specifically request a standard disclosure. Spot checks to validate membership status will be conducted with the appropriate associations head office, on a proportion of applications. Volunteers within & without the sports sector: A volunteer can be defined as a
person who is engaged in any activity which involves CRB Disclosure Fees (£31 & £36)
on behalf of volunteers (meeting the above definition) working within
& without the
sports sector are waived, however we will require a covering letter from
the organisation your voluntary work is carried out on behalf of. Spot checks to validate your volunteer status will be conducted with the appropriate organisations head office, on a proportion of applications. Paid employees within & without the sports sector
