The following fees apply from 1 April 2006:

BIPHA Members:
The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure Fees and return postal costs are waived for correctly registered members of the BIPHA.

Please note: CRB applications will be tested against the BIPHA membership database.

All identification documents submitted with applications via the BIPHA Post Office Box, will be returned to applicants via the same mode as they were submitted 
 - inward submission by standard mail, returned by standard mail
 - inward submission by recorded delivery mail, returned by recorded delivery mail.

Personal Presentation - Most BIPHA regions have at least one (sometimes more) people authorised to process initial submissions of CRB Disclosure applications, those authorised people are often in attendance at regional events and have agreed to process personally presented CRB applications and immediately hand back all identification documents to the applicant. 
Please contact your Regional CRB representative to establish convenient venues and dates.

Also the National Secretary is regularly in attendance at many national events (GB Training days, Superleague, and so on) and will process personally presented CRB applications and immediately hand back all identification documents to the applicant.

Members of Associations affiliated to British Roller Sports Federation:
CRB Disclosure Fees
(£31 & £36) on behalf of members of associations affiliated to the British Roller Sports Federation (BRSF) are waived, however there will be a nominal charge (£5) to cover the return of identification documents by recorded delivery land mail. 
Please enclose a cheque or Postal Order made payable to BIPHA, with your application.

We will apply (on your behalf) for an enhanced disclosure, unless you specifically request a standard disclosure.

Spot checks to validate membership status will be conducted with the appropriate associations head office, on a proportion of applications.

Volunteers within & without the sports sector:

A volunteer can be defined as a person who is engaged in any activity which involves 
spending unpaid time (except for travelling and other approved out-of-pocket expenses), 
doing something which aims to benefit some third party other than or in addition to a close relative.

CRB Disclosure Fees (£31 & £36) on behalf of volunteers (meeting the above definition) working within & without the sports sector are waived, however we will require a covering letter from the organisation your voluntary work is carried out on behalf of.
There will be a nominal charge (£5) to cover the return of original documents by recorded delivery land mail.

Paid employees within & without the sports sector

  • The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Standard Disclosure (remind me) Fee: £31.00 or

  • The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure (remind me) Fee: £36.00 plus

  • Returning identification documents via recorded delivery land mail: £5.00

Service Standards

As part of the British Inline Puck Hockey Association  commitment we will aim to process and forward to the Criminal Records Bureau:

  • 90% of Enhanced Disclosures within 1 week of receiving a correctly completed application, accompanied by all the required paperwork and where appropriate the correct fees.

  • 93% of Standard Disclosures within 2 weeks of receiving a correctly completed application, accompanied by all the required paperwork and where appropriate the correct fees.
